Mako
Mako is a human shark CREATURE who seemed to just start showing up one day, She is headstrong and assertive, though she is incapable of backing up any of the claims she makes and will crumble easily given any pressure (shes 5'4 just pick her up by the scruff of her neck lmao)
The hat that she wears is sentient and can read her thoughts, much to her annoyance. The two tolerate eachother eachother, but will argue like a pair of siblings about LITERALLY anything, with Mako usually only winning due to her deciding where they walk, and the hat being a literal hat. (the hats an ass too makos just the one in control here)
She is very childish and carefree, because of this, she is unable to take things seriously (she gets really annoyed if you call her immature)
Mako doesn't have a residence and often just crashes (uninvited) at her friends' houses, she is constantly between jobs and always shows up in the most random locations (think like,, majima everywhere a la yakuza kiwami, shes like that, youll be walking down the street and BOOM she's there)
She is very expressive, and doesn't try and mask her emotions, she is very vocal of her thoughts (if the hat doesnt announce them first)
Appearance
Mako is usually only ever in a captain's uniform when outside of work, otherwise she's usually wearing whatever uniform for her job.
She wears a blue captain's coat with a silver trim, she's patched up the various holes on it that she's accumulated over time, a white shirt with golden buttons underneath, navy pants, and black boots.
She also wears the aforementioned hat, begrudgingly at times.
She has mildly tanned skin, thick eyelashes and deep blue eyes.
She has LOTS of hair which she dyes white most of the time, it's actually naturally ginger.
Despite looking like one, Mako isn't a human
She can be very teasing at times, but doesn't know how to handle being teased herself
Mako is VERY mischevious, sometimes inciting drama just for some quick entertainment
She never actually gave a name to the hat... or thought to ever just take it off.
She has very sharp teeth, able to bite through metal
Mako can't swim, ironically.
Mako has no clue about the different kinds of water, and just assumes its all the same, which has lead to her drinking salt water on many occasions
ive had mako the longest out of all my ocs :sob: october 13th 2022 was when i came up with her... i feel like ive written myself into her a bunch too over that time so i guess shes my self insert? i use her to represent myself online and allat too (outside of splatoon)
Guidelines
mako could be doing anything honestly theres not many here,, she works part-time odd jobs and does whatever cause shes full time #unemployed

there's not much to say about how she's interact with people but ill throw it in anywayy
general:
she'd be teasing people a ton, esp if she knows them
she takes advantage of being short to jump on people like a flying squirrel
she DOES like messing with people..

ive already said this but they argue like siblings, theres always beef but the hats gotta just suck it up cause mako could just throw it into the water at any moment LMAO
she's never actually thought to name it either
