Cori
Cori is a sanitized Octoling who only 'escaped' from the metro years after the events of oe, she is reliant on Lumine, who found her passed out on a shore and offered her a place to stay, they've lived together since.
She wears a mask unless around people she really trusts, she uses it to try be as unnoticeable as possible, despite her condition.
She is very insecure about her sanitization, avoiding others and trying to hide it as much as she can when leaving her and Lumine's apartment.
Cori's right arm is badly scarred after an incident at kamabo, the scar is visible at the base of her neck and wrist, she experiences general muscle weakness in the area.
The bandages on top of her hoodie correspond to the more heavily impacted section that carries the marbling of sanitized ink, they apply pressure to try alleviate the pain in the area.
Because of this injury, she cannot wield many weapons or do things with her arm as much, she tries to hide this and cover up her arm so nobody finds out.
Her memories are mostly lost, as a majority of her mem cakes were destroyed at Kamabo by her superiors. But she still feels a faint familiarity with things even if she cannot grasp them
Some evidence of her old identity can also still be seen in her behaviour.
She has feelings for Lumine, but has no clue how to express them, with it often manifesting subconsciously as her tentacles curl when nearby her and she leans towards her/rests on her shoulder at times
Appearance
Her tentacles are an abnormally long tentacurls style (just below shoulder length) and have a habit of curling up whenever Cori feels stressed or threatened in any way. (the movement is involuntary, it's just like blushing) She cannot exert any control on their movement either.
They are a blue>dark green gradient, rather than the usual blue>yellow-green gradient of sanitized individuals.
The gear she often wears wasn't originally hers, she took it after awakening in an abandoned part of Kamabo Co.'s facilities.
The hoodie has a scratched-off Kamabo logo to the left of the zipper, along with her boots being the octoleet boots which she found along with the hoodie.
The exception to this are her goggles which were a gift from Lumine, she values them greatly and usually carries them around with her if she isn't wearing them
Her pupils are white and have a dim glow to them and her irises are, from top to bottom, a green>light blue gradient, her sclera are a very dark green. Her white pupils were caused by an improper sanitization.
Cori is slightly shorter than other inkfish due to being underground and undernourished in the metro for a long time.
Her sanitized ink prevents her from participating in any battles due to it's volatile nature and ink dye's inability to have any effect on it.
The sanitized ink she produces is acidic, and stings to touch.
She produces much less ink comparatively due to the strain of this
Cori doesn't have a swim form, and is unable to transform from her octoling form.
She is extremely timid, and will freeze up upon eye contact with anybody she doesn't know.
Cori holds an irrational fear of salmonoids, often trying to distance herself.
Cori shows only faint vital signs, and as a result is cold to touch.
Usually she only leaves the apartment around nighttime, or during splatfests, as it's easier for her to go unnoticed, she does occasionally leave to watch Lumine play in matches though
She believes her emotions make her faulty, and forces herself to stifle them
cori's my oldest splatoon oc, coming in at march 4th 2023 (though shes based on ideas ive had for ages beforehand, it was only after prompting from a friend that i made her) i use her to represent myself online in splatoon spaces,, so shes like my main focus now that ive gotten back into the games in time for raiders and im finally getting around to actually acting on those lore outlines ive had for ages (half of it is nonsense now but we #WORKIN)

Nervousness, Complasient (she'd feel too intimidated to protest, carry over from before she was sanitized, but she doesn't know why she acts like this)
sanitized:
Worried, Hesitant/Distant, Guilt (she would feel guilty for her service and actions,
thoughts like "Did i cause anything for them?" "Oh god, what if i hurt them before...")
friendly:
She'd be more relaxed compared to how she usually acts! she'd only let her guard down around people she really trusts, though
unknown:
She's extremely timid, so she'd be very easily scared and a bit afraid of people she doesn't know
salmonoid:
Very clearly terrified cause lore i cant sugarcoat this, she has an irrational fear of them
